Council Endrosements
South Pas Active and Streets For All have partnered up to make endorsements for City Council in the 2024 General Election. We asked candidates for their thoughts on how to improve the quality of our public spaces, how we can encourage sustainable transportation, street safety, and more. The questionnaire and responses are available publicly.
After careful consideration, SPAS and SFA are endorsing Mayor Evelyn Zneimer for city council in District 1 and Sheila Rossi for city council in District 2. You can read more about the endorsements and process on the SFA voter guide.
Meet and Greet with Sheila Rossi
South Pas Active is organizing a meet-and-greet event with Sheila Rossi on the evening of Tuesday, October 15. How would you like to see the city address issues related to active transportation, safe streets, and sustainability? This is your chance to ask questions and share your vision with Sheila.

This year was a blast - tons of kids and parents joined alongside AV and Marengo mascots Whiskers and Mango!
Grand Bike Lanes Stay!
Thanks to everyone who came to the council meeting to have your voice be heard. Its a small piece, but a big message, and just the start of pushing for safe all-ages/all-abilities multi-modal options in our city.

Support Slow Streets at MTIC
The Mobility and Transportation Infrastructure Commission will make a recommendation on the Slow Streets on Tuesday, Dec 19 at 6:30pm. Email comments of support to mticpubliccomments@southpasadenaca.gov and join us in person!
Our petition has collected 174 signatures, including 123 residents and 44 people near the pilot installations. This is huge support for a small town like South Pas! But influential voices are opposed to these changes.
These changes are needed to keep us safe, and support a healthier, more sustainable way of life. The city will not continue them unless you demand it. See the MTIC meeting agenda for details.
